Sgt. Keith A. Ferguson 5K Run/Walk Over the Brooklyn Bridge

Congratulations to all the runners that came out and ran the 6th Annual Sgt. Keith A. Ferguson Run. There were more than 740 finishers.

The overall winner of this run was Brian Monegon of Long Island City in a time of 16:20. In a great race to the finish, in one tenth of a second behind, NYPD Police Officer William Hansler finished in second place and took the honors of being the first Law Enforcement Officer.

The overall female winner was sixteen year old Lauren Lavoro of Massapequa in a time of 19:36. The first female Law Enforcement Officer was NYPD Police Officer Melaine Amador.

This run is held yearly to honor NYPD Sergeant Keith Ferguson who died in the line of duty.

Come out and run this senic course over the Brooklyn Bridge and back, ending in City Hall Park.
