ING NYC Training Run #2 - 6 to 20 miles

Gearing up to run the ING New York City Marathon or another fall marathon? Get in some long-distance practice with these runs; featuring built-in fuel, pace-setters, and training partners. Participants will be divided into groups by half-minute intervals from 7:00 through 11:00+ minutes per mile. All groups will cover 20 miles, but individuals may shorten their distance to suit their training needs. Runners faster than 7:00 may begin before the 7:00 group; however, no pace leader will be provided. This is an unscored, noncompetitive run and does not count toward qualifying for guaranteed entry to the ING New York City Marathon. Participants must be at least 12 years old.
